Perfectly graduated vertebrae of articulated yellow gold vermeil pieces of “bone” attach to the ear from the bejewelled jaws of the serpent’s skull – diamond encrusted – transforming this ancient creature into mythical legend. Each piece of “bone’” has it own precise movement, conjuring the hypnotic slither of the serpent as the earrings sway, catching the light. Combining traditional goldsmithing with an eye for the avant-garde, the Serpent silhouette took our Mayfair team of trained goldsmiths four years to perfect.
